Wrap Gifts
Wrap gifts
your crew keeps.
Embroidered and screen-printed gear for the last day of a show. We already make the signs on your set. Same shop, same phone number.
A note from Savannah
Making green choices when choosing wrap gifts is really difficult as there are so many variables to consider. How is the item or materials produced? Where and how is it shipped? What is the impact of the facility and company that produced it? On top of that will the whole crew love it?!
One thing I always consider is the quality of whatever I'm buying. Is this item practical? Will I wear it for years to come? Can it last that long?
One of the best wrap gifts I've ever gotten was a waterproof Patagonia duffle bag with the show's name on it. Because it's waterproof and really well made I've used this so many times over the past 6 years. It's still in perfect condition.
Thinking about this has lead me to collect a series of quality practical options for show or department wrap gifts that can be screen printed or embroidered, with our company assurance of easy ordering and quick turnaround. Thinking of something specific? We'll source it!
Sample pieces, shown for decoration and placement. The show names on them are examples, not GLS production jobs.
What crews order
Every price below came off a real invoice, decorated, one logo. They move with quantity and with whatever the mill is charging that month, so treat them as a starting point and let the quote be the number.

Pick how the name goes on
Three methods, and the right one depends more on your quantity than on the garment. Here is what each costs you and where each falls down.
Embroidery
Thread stitched into the fabric. It survives the wash, and it makes a $30 jacket read like a $70 one.
- Best on
- Jackets, hoodies, hats, bags, anything with a heavy weave
- Watch out
- Thread colors are a fixed set, and fine text under about a quarter inch turns to mush
- Minimum
- 1 piece
- Setup
- $55 to digitize a logo, once. After that it is on file and free.
Screen print
Ink pushed through a screen, one screen per color per location. The screens cost real money up front and nothing after that.
- Best on
- Tees, totes, crew shirts, anything flat and cotton
- Watch out
- Fine detail closes up, and a run under about 25 pieces cannot absorb the screen fees
- Minimum
- ~25 pieces
- Setup
- $65 per new screen. $10 to pull one already on file.
Heat transfer
A printed film bonded on with heat and pressure. Full color and no screens, so it can be economical on a run of twelve.
- Best on
- Short runs, photographic art, patches
- Watch out
- Wears faster than the other two and will not go on high-heat fabric
- Minimum
- 1 piece
- Setup
- None
One thing worth knowing before you order twice: your screens and your digitized file stay on record after the first job. Come back next season and the setup line drops from $65 to $10.
Five steps, two weeks
Two weeks holds for stock blanks with artwork already on file. A 250-hat run, a brand we have to source, or a new screen adds time, and the quote will say so with a date on it rather than a promise.

01Tell us the showName, headcount, wrap date, and roughly what you want to spend a head. That is enough to quote.

03Art gets approvedSend whatever you have. Vector is best, a screenshot is workable. You approve a proof before anything is cut or stitched.
